Castles

Castles are the primary building in Land and Castles. They can be captured by enemy knights.

Castles (except camps) spawn knights and collect resources. They can be upgraded from level 1 to 5, see castle stats. Higher level castles cost more wood and stone to upgrade.

Res. Rate = Resource rate, the speed at which resources are harvested.

Statistics may be affected by researched technology or player modifiers (applied to CPU players to adjust difficulty).

Upgrades

Castles can be upgraded with wood and stone resources. The speed of upgrades can be increased by researching technology.

1. Camp

Lowest level castle, created by a knight or as a reward from opening a treasure chest.

Camps cannot spawn knights or support farms.

2. Hut

A hut is not easily defended but can spawn a knight and support one farm.

3. Outpost

Outposts are better defended with 2 hit points.

4. Castle

Castles have higher defence with 3 hit points.

5. Fortress

Highest level castle with the greatest defence at 4 hit points.
