Knights

Knights are player units in Land and Castles. They are used to explore the map, guard locations, open treasure chests, build new settlements and attack enemy players.

Knights are spawned by all castles except camps. Higher level castles support more knights and spawn them faster. Idle knights that are not set to guard will move towards a rally point if one has been placed.

Knights can be merged to increase their health and improve their battle odds. They have a chance to gain a hit point when opening a treasure chest.

When embarking on water knights become boats with the same battle odds.

Guarding

The guard button can be used to order a Knight to remain at a location and guard it. Guarding knights will not move to the rally point. A guarding knight will have a "-" symbol to its top right.

Rally Point

A rally point can be set by the player to group newly spawned and idle knights at a location. The rally point can be removed by setting it to the same coordinate again.

Battle Odds

Battle odds are proportional to the number of hit points of the knights or castle in the battle.

Battles are handled in rounds. The battle will continue until one unit runs out of health.

Example 1

3hp knight vs. 1hp castle.
75% chance of knight victory, 25% chance of castle victory.

Example 2

1hp knight vs. 1hp castle.
50% chance of knight victory, 50% chance of castle victory.

Battle odds are also affected by the technology researched by both players that modify the player's chances.
